What is University Hope?

OPportunities through
Education" is a student, faculty, and staff organization on the campus of California State University,
Fresno. It's purpose is simple; to build hope in our community by constructing
new homes (one house per year) for low-income,
1st time homeowners, and to rehabilitate existing homes of needy families
and thereby helping to improve neighborhoods.
The primary mission of University HOPE is to capture the imagination, energy, and commitment of students, faculty, and staff in order to productively and responsibility involve them in the work of providing adequate housing for families in need. Grounded in the Judeo-Christian tradition, open to persons of all faith traditions, University Hope seeks to connect our spiritual lives to the needs of the world.
